The goal of The Turning Point of Chester, Inc is to meet those who are hurting at the point of their need. Knowing that from the foundation of the world, God ordained the family (Father, Mother and Child).

So many of our children (boys and girls) keep repeating the vicious cycle of crime, drugs, alcohol, suicide and other destructive - sometimes deadly acts trying to reach a state of euphoria but never able to attain it. 

We believe a very large part of the problem is that the God appointed head of the family is either absent from the home or for whatever reason is not fulfilling his rightful role. Bondage can be in the form of substance abuse, gambling, anger or just plain lack of knowingn how to be the head of the home. 

We, by the grace of God and His guidance, endeavor to help these men find freedom from bondage by teaching them how to be a responsible husband and father so they can take their rightful place at the head of the household. Teaching him how to be an example for his son and showing his daughter how she should be treated as well as what she should look for in a husband and father for her children by being responsible and loving husband himself. 

If with God's guidance, we can accomplish this in a family. We believe it will bring about a turning point in the lives of the family units. 

We realize this is not the total problem: however, since 1986, we have been called to and are on the front lines of this battle.
